Spring Meadow Resources’ Haunted House was replaced this year by the Haunted Barn. Mary Ulrich and her crew of goblins worked hard to turn out a barn full of spooky turns, twists, sounds, and fog.
Visitors to the haunted barn, for the most part, loved it, while some did get pretty scared. The special effects were outstanding. Plans for next year’s haunted barn are already in the works.

The Spring Meadow Resources Valentine’s Day party was held at CAP this past Saturday. Stormie Hoy led the decorating team, and it turned out really festive. About 75 clients and staff attended this event, which began with the chili cook off, and then swung into dancing, games, and more fun.
Winning chili cooks were Waukesha, winning first prize for the best chili. Oregon’s cooks took second prize, and Heather Ring took third place for chili. A big thanks to everyone who entered the cook off.
Also at the party were pinatas, which everyone took a shot at breaking. The pinatas finally succumbed to some pretty harsh treatment, which was the whole point. Everyone enjoyed the party based on a rock and roll theme!
