Spring Meadow Resources' Frances Dwyer Endowment for Life Enrichment is a permanent endowment for persons with disabilities. The purpose of the endowment is to fund research and development of new programs for persons with disabilities. It is not our intent that the principal of the endowment be used for daily operational expenditures. The Spring Meadow Resources' Board of Directors decides how the money is invested, and may amend this endowment as long as it is within the boundaries of program research and development. (Spring Meadow Resources is a 501(C)(3) private non-profit organization.)

With your gift to the endowment, YOU provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities that enrich their lives, making those lives much more full. Some of the needs not allowed by government funds, but that create social barriers and effectively bar a person from a wide range of opportunities may include the lack of assistive technology, unable to afford or fund reconstructive surgery, inability to participate in socialization opportunities, and educational opportunities not open due to special needs of the interested individual.

The principal of the endowment is never spent. It is carefully invested to produce a steady stream of income, which may either be expanded or added to the principal. Contributions to the endowment will be held in an interest-bearing endowment account. Only interest earned from the endowment will be distributed and used to support the special needs of those individuals Spring Meadow Resources serves.

Families and friends of people with disabilities often wish to show their gratitude for assistance they have received from our services. Leaving a gift in your will (life insurance benefits, stocks and bonds, cash proceeds from an estate, or a donation of property) is a perfect way to ensure that doors are open for the people with disabilities, now and far into the future.
